Set up MassMessage functionality for informing community about OpenRefine and SDC news
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

In order to conveniently reach many community members about the new StructuredDataOnCommons features in OpenRefine, set up MassMessage functionality.
In that way, community members can easily sign up if they want to stay informed. And @Spinster can message everyone at once.

Really good one. I do plan to do one manual alert to a lot of folks at once (basically saying 'hey we are doing this cool new thing and you should sign up').

I've alerted many people on their talk pages and added a notice to the Wikidata Weekly Summary. I'll continue advertising this, but I think this task can now be closed as the ball is rolling: the signup page is filling up!

100 people on Wikidata love OpenRefine, so much love there! I'll do some cherry-picking on that list.
