After seeing T288956 in action, would be nice that we could see which tasks are "in progress" when looking at a board.
Maybe change the color of the card or add a red dot (like the REC vcr sign)

Yes, on hover it has a tooltip with the status in english / user's chosen translation.

Does the indicator have to be shown for open tasks? As open is the default state, it seems a bit redundant and takes up extra space. I also have noticed that it makes task cards slightly harder to read because of how it interacts with projects.
