issue going back to section picker page from new article translation
Open, MediumPublicBUG REPORT

Description

List of steps to reproduce (step by step, including full links if applicable):

  1. go to https://bn.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:ContentTranslation#/
  2. chose an article from the suggestions, "New pages" section
  3. Start translation and translate a couple of sentences
  4. click the back arrow
  5. click the back arrow to "back to all sections"

What happens?:
we're taken to the section picker page instead of the start translation page.

  • since this is a new article there are no sections to pick so the user can't go back to the translation.
  • the link to the article in the target language goes to an undefined page.

What should have happened instead?:
the new article/translation page shows again like it shows when we go from the dashboard.

either that or:

  • we're taken to a page that allows us to go back to the translation in progress
  • instead of "back to all sections", we can show a "back to dashboard" back arrow and show a warning that the draft will be lost
