List of steps to reproduce the problem (step by step, including full links if applicable):

1. click edit on a artcle that has a grid in it on your browser like https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2021%E2%80%9322_United_States_network_television_schedule
2. Go to visual editing if you are in source editing
3. Click on 1 of the boxs in the grid assuming you are editing that box

What happens?:
It won't allow you to do anything within the grid not even to add rows, change text within the box, create redirect links and cite

What should have happened instead?:
You should be able to do all of the following things listed above by using the arrow tabs on the corners or the box you are editing from and all other functions would light up so you can make those changes like link, cite and even font
