Your reason, including links to patches written and reviewed: The main reason I’m requesting +2 access, is to help putting the skin back on its feet. The group has only one person who can +2 (@SamanthaNguyen), who is currently inactive. I’m currently assigned two tasks, that are yet to be either approved, or made. Correct me if I’m wrong, but with nobody who can +2, code reviews cannot merge.

Anyone in the broader mediawiki or mediawiki-skins group can +2 your changes. Have you reached out to @SamanthaNguyen before this? I note they weren't a reviewer on your patch so it's possible they weren't even aware of your attempts to contribute.

Indeed only @SamanthaNguyen is listed on https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/admin/groups/0e912b44238f74a234de4bf79cf058764131af93,members and they seem to have been less active lately.

@Bongo-Cat: I suggest bringing this up in an email to wikitech-l@ as I don't think that there are clear rules how to proceed when maintainers seems to be inactive.
