Description

List of steps to reproduce (step by step, including full links if applicable):

  • Login with newcomer features on mobile, and navigate directly to the standalone suggested edits page Special:Homepage/suggested-edits

What happens?:
The Suggested edits feed displays with a number of unexpected visual elements and styles.

  • Wikipedia header should not be shown
  • Suggested edits header is incorrectly styled
  • Incorrect background colour
  • Edit and navigation arrows footer is not sticky to bottom of the screen

What should have happened instead?:
The mobile user should see the same view as if they had opened the Suggested edits feed via the homepage overlay

@RHo thanks for filing this. it's not just the suggested edits module; all the modules that we display using the subpath rendering will look off. There's a task in T264992: Remove mobile-details mode from Special:Homepage about removing that display option entirely, but it would be nice to verify via instrumentation data that it is unused or lightly used. It would be nice to get rid of it, because it's another code path that we mostly don't pay attention to.
