Since Timeless is deployed as an available skin on Wikimedia products it should work consistently with other skins.
Currently, an editor can blank the message MediaWiki:Mainpage-title to hide the heading on the main page. This works in all visible Wikimedia deployed skins except Timeless (see T298715 for more background)
Support is simple - patch is incoming.
