List of steps to reproduce (step by step, including full links if applicable):

Go to pl.wikinews, for exemple open https://pl.wikinews.org/wiki/Wikinews:Regiony_%C5%9Bwiata

What happens?:
The new notice about new langlinks closes automatically in 1 second.
If you refresh the page (CTRL+F5) you can see it again for 1 second or less, then it disappears.

What should have happened instead?:
The new notice about new langlinks should stay visible like in other wikis.

This is being caused by https://pl.m.wikinews.org/wiki/MediaWiki:Common.js#L-456

Will be fixed by the changes proposed in T270796
