Mark the #Contributors-Team group as inactive
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

AFAIK, there isn't a Contributors-Team entity that coordinates on planning, triaging tasks, distributing work, etc. So I think it would make sense to mark it as inactive, and tasks that are assigned to it should be distributed among the teams that make up its constiuent parts (e.g. Editing-team, Growth-Team, Language-Team, etc.)

(There are probably other phab tags that belong here, but I am not sure which ones!)

Should the "Contributors" entries also be removed from Developers/Maintainers?

The same can probably be asked about "Reading" as well (no corresponding phab tag but used quite a bit on the maintainers page).

I went through https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/maniphest/?ids=167899,115598,115597,112984,104863,90030,89576,87598,86196,88688#R and untagged Contributors, adding other teams where needed.

Should the "Contributors" entries also be removed from Developers/Maintainers?

IMO yes, that is also why I added Code-Stewardship-Reviews because I think that needs to be part of the process (cc @Jrbranaa).

Yes, but that should probably be another task?

Please file a proper Code Stewardship Request following their requested template.
