Hello to you.

It is not clear to me why the new vector was forced on all those who marked in preferences "to stay with the old vector". But let's leave it at that for now.
In the new vector, the "new section" button displays the "+" sign instead of "new section". A new (and an old) user does not understand the relationship to plus, minus, double, division, or differential equations.

The first thing I did in my wiki was run over the "MediaWiki: Vector-2022-action-addsection" page, but anyone responsible for disrupting this pest should remove it globally.

Because in software development, mistakes happen (it's also why we have this issue tracker here). See T300757.

In the new vector, the "new section" button displays the "+" sign instead of "new section".

The + appeared on my Wikipedia site until I created the page: https://he.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D7%9E%D7%93%D7%99%D7%94_%D7%95%D7%99%D7%A7%D7%99:Vector-2022-action-addsection

I have no idea why this page does not appear on translatewiki, but it does not bother me so much. I found this system message by using "?uselang=qqx" at the end of the URL, and immediately after I created it the button worked. So if there is an incompatibility between translatewiki and media wiki it's a nice question, but not related to the card I opened.
