Image link to Commons broken in Cologne Blue skin
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Author: bugzilla_wikipedia_org.to.jamesd

Description:
Version 1.3.7wm. In Cologne Blue there's a link to the image at the ipper right
of he browser window. The link is to
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/6/6c/Wikimeet_London_2004.12.03_-_Sannse_and_Jimbo_compare_pictures.jpg
while the image itself is at
http://commons.wikimedia.org/upload/6/6c/Wikimeet_London_2004.12.03_-_Sannse_and_Jimbo_compare_pictures.jpg
.

This link is the most obvious way to get to the image when you have display of
images in different domains turned off in the browser. With that setting, the
image is not currently visible in either the article or image description page
on en (to limit the impact of IE security issues).

Version: 1.3.x
Severity: normal

Fixed on 1.3, 1.3a, 1.4, and head branches. Fix live on Wikipedia.

This also fixed the issue that a bogus link would be shown even if the image file didn't exist.
