Problem
There are some communities with a very high number of newcomers per month. It's not realistic to get a mentor base able to answer all questions from those newcomers, assuming the questions flow in at the usual rate. This is a case with the English Wikipedia, for example.
Solution
Once T287915: Mentorship: allow newcomers to opt-in and opt-out of mentorship is implemented, allow wikis to start with new users opted-out of mentorship. This will be configurable in community configuration. Once this change is implemented, to get a mentor, one will need to not only create an account, but also actively press the "Get a mentor" button. Hopefully, this will result in a slightly lower number of higher-quality question.
