Description

We should make regular backups for the cloudinfra databases that currently hold the ENC backend data.

The new database VMs are on Cinder storage, can we just take regular snapshots of those volumes? Alternatively we could use a similar approach to what we do for PAWS/Quarry and add a VM with a regular cronjob to store sql dump files.

I wouldn't say it's a proper solution, but we are now backing up up both VMs and cinder volumes wholesale with backy.

That makes this less urgent, but saving raw mysql dumps would still be a lot more useful.
