Most of the readers and editors of Marathi Wikipedia edit via mobile devices. It is thereby very much needed that the Mainpage of Marathi Wikipedia be properly displayed in mobile devices.
Current issues
- Header template is very long and needs to be scrolled while viewing.
- Tabs in the Mainpage are very much clubbed to each other.
- No proper alignment of templates and featured image.
- Text are very long and difficult to read.
What is expected
- Modification of templates and Table information so that the page is displayed properly on Mobile and desktop version
- Colour and styles of templates must look modern.
- Attractive view so that users are encouraged to interact more on the Mainpage
Please note: Marathi Wikipedia has about 83,000+ articles and is native to Maharashtra, India. Intern must have basic knowledge of the language before taking up this task. Intern must create a sandbox (User:xxx/sandbox) to experiment this task. Once ready must ping local administrator/mentor to review their task.
