Description

List of steps to reproduce (step by step, including full links if applicable):

  • Use an account with rollback permission (sysop, or rollbacker group on wikis it exists)
  • Open a history page

What happens?:
Rollback button is not showing for last edition on history page (at least on frwiki).

What should have happened instead?:
Rollback button should appear (for rollbackers and sysops).

Software version (if not a Wikimedia wiki), browser information, screenshots, other information, etc.:
Wiki: fr.wikipedia
Browser: for me Firefox 97.0.1; another contributor said on frwiki village pump it doesn't work with Edge either: https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikip%C3%A9dia:Le_Bistro/26_f%C3%A9vrier_2022#Bouton_%C2%AB_r%C3%A9voquer_%C2%BB_absent_de_l'historique

Edit: note that the button is correctly shown on contributions and diff pages.

Event Timeline

Hi Zabe,

That's not the rollback button for rollbackers, you can see it in this screenshot from contributions (at the end of the first line, [révoquer 1 modification]).

I had my language set to english. When I set it back to french I can also see the révoquer 1 modification button.

So you can't see it when visiting https://fr.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Angela_Merkel&action=history ?

Mathis_Benguigui claimed this task.

Indeed, I made an error, it's actually the good button.

While I was writing here, another contributor on frwiki told us to add &safemode=1 at the end of the URL, and the button came back after that; sorry for disturbing, I close the task.

Aklapper changed the task status from Resolved to Invalid.Feb 26 2022, 7:26 PM
