linkrecommendation is a good second candidate to use the Ingress implementation.
It's small enough (rp/s wise) to not hit any walls immediately and big enough to have some constant traffic in Ingress.
linkrecommendation uses two LVS services that are currently distinguished by the TCP port used:
- 4005 for linkrecommendation (used internally)
- 4006 for linkrecommendation-external (accessible via api-gateway/api.mediawiki.org)
Instead of different ports, different hostnames would need to be used when using ingress.
