Now that the Reply Tool is available by default on desktop at nearly all Wikimedia Wikis, it would be worthwhile to evaluate how performant it is (read: how quickly it loads, is ready for input, saves comments, etc.)

- How long does it take for the Reply Tool to appear after people click or tap a [ reply ] link?
- How long does it take for the Reply Tool to be ready for input people after people click or tap a [ reply ] link?
- How long does it take for people to see the comment they drafted published to the talk page after clicking / tapping the Reply button within the tool?

One comment from a kind editor at kowiki said that the Reply tool could take 3 or 4 seconds to open on a smartphone. It would ideally be faster than that.
