- User can choose to see an alternative list of other licenses. It is impossible to select more than one license (licenses are radio buttons).

- All these licenses, and the keys for the message strings that describe them are obtained from LocalSettings.php. MediaWiki:Licenses is not used.
Translations are done through the normal .i18n.php system, not by posting translations to a subpage of MediaWiki:Licenses. (This has led to inconsistency in the past anyway).
