Description

I've seen a few reports of this, but one person responded with more info:

1, This user selected David Bennett from this article: https://www.smithsonianmag.com/smart-news/patient-who-received-a-genetically-modified-pig-heart-dies-after-two-months-180979706/

  1. Tapped Wikipedia
  2. And got two errors when the app opened.

I quickly tried to replicate, and wasn't able to. Notably, Siri Spotlight brought up David Bennett the American football coach for me, not the New Zealand politician. (And the article opened fine.) This was true when my VPN was set to New Zealand, as well - so we may be able to replicate if we set the device country to somewhere closer to New Zealand, but I didn't try that yet.

It's possible that the multiple people by the same name is part of the problem. If we could get the URL that is being passed, that would be helpful.

This could be related to this bug, but I'm not confident: https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T225444
