(I'm also a member of Quality-and-Test-Engineering-Team.) Yes, please give +2 to @EAkinloose. @Jrbranaa, could you please approve this as her manager?

To me, this looks like a request for the wmf LDAP group (https://ldap.toolforge.org/group/wmf), which grants +2 on the repos WMF employees usually have +2 (including the one you need). That level of access would be requested via LDAP-Access-Requests.

If for some reason, more limited rights are needed, that's fine (and I've no objections, obviously), just wanted to mention it.

Thanks @Urbanecm. I have changed the tag. Is there anything else I need to do?

Just picking up SRE clinic duty for the week -- I'm so sorry this has been sitting for so long! I'll ask around and try to find out what happened here.

@EAkinloose Would you please create a Wikitech account, here: https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:CreateAccount&returnto=Main+Page

Once you've done that, let me know the username and I'll add you to the wmf group right away.

It's our fault, the task was tagged with MediaWiki-Gerrit-Group-Requests (instead of LDAP-Access-Requests) until yesterday.

I think she already has a wikitech account: https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Esther_Akinloose

Oh, yep! It just didn't have the email address I expected, so my search didn't turn it up.

@EAkinloose Can you update the email address on your Wikitech account to your @wikimedia.org address please? You can do so from the Wikitech preferences here: https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:ChangeEmail&returnto=Special%3APreferences

Then let me know and I'll put in the LDAP change.

After consulting with SRE colleagues, I stand corrected -- the email address on the account is fine, and we'll just use the wikimedia.org address in our own records. Going ahead!

Change 790748 had a related patch set uploaded (by RLazarus; author: RLazarus):

[operations/puppet@production] admin: Add esther-akinloose to ldap_only_users

RLazarus claimed this task.

Done!

rzl@mwmaint1002:~$ ldapsearch -x cn=wmf | grep esther-akinloose
member: uid=esther-akinloose,ou=people,dc=wikimedia,dc=org

@EAkinloose You should be all set -- I'm marking the task resolved, but feel free to reopen if you run into any trouble.
