This is the mobile wikitext editor specific part of T304747: Newcomer task tags are not visible in Special:RecentChanges feed after VisualEditor edits. The mobile wikitext editor uses the edit API, so we'd probably need to add some hook point to the editor's JS code to send an extra parameter when appropriate, declare it in the APIGetAllowedParams hook, then use the RecentChange_save) to update the RC tags like with the other editors.

The following was checked and no issues were found:
- Advanced mode enabled/disabled
- (for desktop) - Vector (2022) and Vector legacy
All works as expected - the newcomer tags are displayed in RC/Watchlist and View history. Closing as Resolved.
