Motivation

Legal will provide an updated wording for the IP Info disclaimer before production deployment.

Spec

For the Maxmind information disclaimer:

For the agreement to see the information on Special:Contributions:

The IP Information tool uses the MaxMind databases to show details like approximate location, proxy, and how many devices are sharing this IP address. Please review the IP Information tool guidelines before enabling it.

Change the message 'ipinfo-preference-enable' in the IPInfo extension to: "Show the IP Information tool on Special:Contributions page for unregistered contributors"
For all the other messages specified above, override them using the WimikediaMessages extension

Hi @Niharika,

I see that on Special:Contributions, the last line on the screenshot says:
"Click here to disable this box you can re-enable it from Special:Preferences"

The en file says:
"If you'd like to disable this feature you can do so from Special:Preferences."

Should we update this line, too?
