Problem: When usability testers were asked to add @-mention a username that had not previous been involved in the conversation, they struggled to use the tool to search for usernames. Where struggled here means that they didn't use the search functionality or used the search functionality but didn't scroll down to the correct username after search or expected to be able to autocomplete the username addition.
