Per T309648 , the Search Platform team is requesting a service account for Swift Thanos, so we can use the S3 API to snapshot and restore data from the production search cluster to cloudelastic.
I can confirm that both prod and cloudelastic environments can reach https://thanos-swift.discovery.wmnet .
