Investigate relabeling NoC-CR items
Open, Needs TriagePublic

Description

There are just 3 items, out of over 100K, using the No Copyright - Contractual Restrictions rights statement. These can be viewed here: https://indianamemory.contentdm.oclc.org/digital/collection/ATurners/search/searchterm/%20http%3A%252F%252Frightsstatements.org%252Fvocab%252FNoC-CR%252F1.0%252F

This may not be worth the trouble, but just tracking this here in case we are able to change to NoC-US for Wikimedia compatibility, since these are all 1922 publications. I believe there is some donor agreement at play here, based on the rest of the collection, which is all in copyright, but... this isn't really how copyright works.

Event Timeline

These are from the Athenaeum Turners collection ... largely (and wrongly, I think) assigned IU Copyright. I think there are over 280 items that could be assigned public domain. Maybe this is where the "hard look" begins with the Archives unit. https://indianamemory.contentdm.oclc.org/digital/collection/ATurners
