Similarly to previous pilot work that involved landing pages (e.g. T286796), we want to produce funnel numbers for this campaign. The funnel is fundamentally different, which will be described in more detail below.
- The campaign was only on eswiki.
- The campaign ran from 2022-05-10 13:50:02 UTC (ref T307844#7917482) to 2022-07-01 00:00:00 UTC, the last emails might be sent some days after 2022-07-01.
Whereas the funnel in other analyses has focused on views of the account creation page, the number of account creations, and constructive activations, in this campaign users already had accounts when receiving the welcome email. This leads to a different funnel:
- Homepage visit (from clicking the link in the email).
- Clicking a suggested task.
- Attempting to edit.
- Saving the edit.
We'll use the HomepageVisit and HomepageModule schemas to determine visits and task clicks, and EditAttemptStep to determine edit attempts and saves.
