Description

Followup of T230083 : I'm requesting that *.esahubble.org be added to the whitelist for the same reasons (same contents: Hubble images). ESA started to use this new domain in 2021.

I'm also requesting to add *.webbtelescope.org to the whitelist, to prepare import of James Webb Space Telescope images that will be released starting tonight.

Use case that this task will solve: allow me to upload the full-resolution file for https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Tapestry_of_blazing_starbirth.tif, currently hosted at https://esahubble.org/media/archives/images/original/heic2007a.tif

As with T230083, please ensure the whitelist is for *.esahubble.org and *.webbtelescope.org to account for the potential for varying subdomains.

I see just right now that T300407 changed last May the configuration mechanism from git-based config files to mediawiki-based config page:

As already mentioned above, new URLs should be added to https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/MediaWiki:Copyupload-allowed-domains instead. :)
