We discussed the following today:
- It is a better user experience if the user is redirected to the event page
- For now, an extremely fast and easy fix is to show the success message when editing or enabling registration
- For this reason, we'll work on T333579 first for edit/enable registration and then consider improving behavior to show the success message on the event page in the future

One thing I realized while working on T333579: even if the edit succeeds, we may still need to show warnings (e.g., if there was an issue adding tracking tools). I'm not sure how that would work if we choose to redirect the user to the event page.
