The Vietnamese Wikibooks community has reached a consensus on changing the article count method to count any page in an article namespace other than redirects. This change is desired for consistency with the English Wikibooks (T188472) and in recognition of the automatic link that MediaWiki already provides to a content page’s containing book. The $wgArticleCountMethod variable would need to be changed to any in InitialiseSettings.php.
