The API is not listed in Special:ApiSandbox and also attempts to use it with "Execute in browser" turned on fail to run.
The API code needs to be updated to work with the new API structure. The code that calls it also needs to be updated.

Adding T42786 as a parent task as tasks to fix other extensions were linked like that. If priority or unlinking from that task is desired, please feel free to do so.
