Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):
- Open the page https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Centralny_Urz%C4%85d_Planowania_(III_RP)?veaction=edit
- Click on the first footnote [1]
- Edit the footnote
- Remove the red link by clicking and editing
- Try to add the link again
What happens?:
There is some kind of z-index issue in CSS because the edit footnote elements are on top of add link popup.
So there is no way to add links properly. If you add a link it immediately adds Wikilink and there is no way to change it.
What should have happened instead?:
You should be able to add normal link

It's on Polish Wikipedia. Just to be sure I've disabled the dark mode gadget and switched to the old vector.
The issue is visible on the new and old Vector.
