Notes
When adding language items it might be a good idea to also add the ones for T315848 so they can all get translated at the same time.

Thanks a lot!
I made a minor change to the text, I removed "us" after "sending".

How about making it translatable and display the banner in the user's language if possible, could you check if it's feasible?

Great, thanks! Do we already have preview and translation links for T315848 as well?

I think I have everything I need to move forward with proposing these banners to the Wikidata community on https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:Administrators%27_noticeboard .

@Lea_Lacroix_WMDE I just noticed that the graphic image has washed out colours.

See it compared to the logo here:

I'm willing to bet that the person who made it doesn't have their colour profiles in Photoshop set up right for the web. Heres a Stack Overflow answer with how to fix that.

I just made a Central Notice request for this banner. Because of the very short deadline, I decided to postpone the start of the campaign to September 5th.
While looking at it with Martin, we noticed a couple of things that should be fixed:

  • Start date: September 5th
  • End date: September 19th
  • Site: Wikidata, not Wikipedia
  • Target: logged in users only
  • We should have a small "Translate" link somewhere on the banner, linking to the translation page
  • A campaign type should be specified (not sure what it should be)

Could you fix these things? Thanks a lot!

About the colors: thanks for noticing the issue. We're not going to do anything about it at that point.

@Lea_Lacroix_WMDE Should the translate link then be translated?

@Lea_Lacroix_WMDE I don't have experience with how quick translating in-banner content usually is. Since the banner will only run for two weeks and also only on Wikidata, I'm wondering if that's long enough for the translation to actually go through the whole process of reviewing during that period.

@AbbanWMDE Yes, that makes sense.
@kai.nissen To be honest, I don't know. Can we try and see how it goes?

Thanks a lot!
Martin checked the campaign, everything seems good for a start on September 5th.
