Most of the relevant Maps (Kartotherian) code my WMDE team works on in our current WMDE-GeoInfo-FocusArea is on Gerrit. But this tiny library is not: https://www.npmjs.com/package/@wikimedia/mapdata. Furthermore, it looks like releases for this are exclusively done on NPM, not via git tags.
We need a release for T315883: Update, tag and release mapdata version 0.7.0.
