💡 Thank you to @nettrom_WMF for inspiring this task by making me aware that we have the ability to look at newcomers' Welcome Survey responses,
This task involves the work of making it possible for us to use Superset to see the responses newcomers from particular countries and regions submit to the Welcome Survey.
This information will help the Editing Team understand the kinds of edits people within our target audience are arriving at the wikis attempting to make (T313071, T313566) so that we can decide on an initial edit check to implement (T312180).
Requirements
- For each question within the Welcome Survey (e.g. reason, edited, mentor, and languages), we'd like to be able to see the response counts aggregated for each wiki and the country and region from which respondents submitted their response
- Said another way, we'd like to be to answer questions like, "What percentage of people who completed the Welcome Survey from Kenya cited new-page as the reason for why they created a new account?"
- Ideally, the chart the list item is describing could be incorporated into the existing Sub-Saharan Africa Editors Superset dashboard: https://superset.wikimedia.org/r/1873
