Bot chooses wrong access date when going from HTTPS link to HTTP

Description

Where is it getting this access date from https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=.nu&diff=next&oldid=1095476830 Also, it should not be adding access-dates that are newer than the archive, and doubly so for dead pages. AManWithNoPlan (talk) 13:26, 25 August 2022 (UTC)

AManWithNoPlan, the access date is drawn from the revision history if it was not already explicitly stated in the citation template. Harej (talk) 20:37, 31 August 2022 (UTC)

Which is not when the URL was added to the page, but when the Bot itself added the archive in the first place. https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=.nu&type=revision&diff=1085506480&oldid=1080006781 Also, the bot does not take into account copy/paste etc. I suggest that the bot never add an access date that is later then the archive - especially for dead links. This access date is completely wrong. AManWithNoPlan (talk) 21:03, 31 August 2022 (UTC)
