Frequent editing conflicts using preview on first edit

Description:
After the upgrade to 1.4 I'm unable to write on several pages, because I
*always* get an editing conflict, even if the page was not written by anyone.
List of affected pages that I fould in random checks:

[[:it:Wikipedia:Bar]] (the equivalent of the English village pump)
[[:it:Discussioni Wikipedia:Bar]]
[[:it:MediaWiki:Editingcomment]]
[[:it:Scienza]]

It definitely seems related, but I would not consider it a *duplicate*.

The preview on first edit mode didn't correctly initialize the form with the data required to confirm that there was no conflict or to
work with section edits.

Should be fixed now.
