Create new GitLab project group: wikimedia-ch
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Path to group: repos/wikimedia-ch

Rationale: Repositories related to Wikipedia CH (Switzerland)

Who should have access: ilario (owner) valerio-bozzolan (owner)

Consensus: These members are from the WMCH-Infrastructure

Gerrit migrations: Note that WMCH has 2 Gerrit repositories but we will not use them anymore: Gerrit's UX is considered too cumbersome for most of our potential users. Please archive/nuke these Gerrit repositories migrating them under wikimedia-ch on GitLab, and please update their Diffusion mirror:

Next, the first repository that WMCH will manually import is this one:

Thank you so much for your help.

NOTE: The stuff related to GitLab can be considered resolved. Thank you @brennen! I will open sub-task for other stuff related to Differential and Gerrit.

Event Timeline

Hi @brennen, what do you think about?

I think that, at the moment, it could be nice to just create the GitLab group. The migration for Gerrit can be postponed.

Thank you for what you can do!

Hi @valerio.bozzolan - created the group with you as an owner. Didn't see a GitLab user for @Ilario; you can add them to the group once they've logged in.

Thank you @brennen! GitLab is now OK.

Do you know who can help with the things on Diffusion and Gerrit? (I have not enough privileges to do it)

The easiest way is probably to create subtasks for each task and flag them with the appropriate tags (example, Diffusion Gerrit)
