Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):

• Visit Special:RecentChanges on Translatewiki: https://translatewiki.net/wiki/Special:RecentChanges
• Select any language in the language selector that appears below the "Live updates" button
• Click "Show"

What happens?:
The list of recent changes is empty for any language you choose.

What should have happened instead?:
The list should show the relevant recent changes.

Software version (skip for WMF-hosted wikis like Wikipedia):
MediaWiki 1.40.0-alpha
Clean Changes 2022-07-28

Other information (browser name/version, screenshots, etc.):
The extension works correctly when you click the link from the sidebar. The link in the sidebar is [1] (which works), which redirects to [2] once you load it (my language is "nb"). If you choose a language using the method described above, the URL changes to [3].
