Background
Many editors have requested the ability to change the fixed with of the page for their daily work. Some have also brought up that it might be possible that readers use this functionality as well. We would like to look into this option. In particular, to answer the following questions:
- Would it be possible to build a toggle that expands the fixed width of the page?
- This behavior would be persistent for logged-in users and not persistent for logged-out users
- What success criteria would be required to consider this feature a success? How can we measure this toggle and what threshold of usage would we define as a successful and necessary features
