I just used Special:EnableStructuredDiscussions expecting that the topics on the existing talk page would be converted to Structured Discussion topics.

To my surprise the previous discussion page was simply archived out of the way. I think that this is quite unexpected behavior, I think it would be better to warn the user. Existing talk pages might contain recent discussions, which you certainly don't want to archive.
