Background

For our current round of hiring, we need to be able to send candidates a takehome assignment that is able to assess their capabilities in both frontend and backend tasks. The current assignment is primarily focused on backend tasks - we should update it to include frontend tasks as well!

I briefly presented the coding exercise to the dev team during SHDT on Monday, but I would find it really helpful if a dev on our team can look at it more thoroughly (e.g. review the instructions and TODOs and check that they make sense). Therefore, I've moved this and T322072 to code review. If someone on the team has bandwidth to review this (it appears no one does at the moment), I'd really appreciate it!

In addition, I've also scheduled a meeting with members of the dev team on Tuesday, November 8 to go over this and the rubric (which was not discussed in SHDT).

Note, following Kosta's suggestion in the pull request, I've made a fork of the growth exercise repo with the hope that it will be merged back after its been more battle-tested. I've updated the coding exercise rubric's link to the exercise to reflect this change.
