Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):

What happens?:

A lexeme with the lemma बर् is created instead

What should have happened instead?:

A lexeme with the lemma बर्फ़ी should have been created.

Software version (skip for WMF-hosted wikis like Wikipedia):

Other information (browser name/version, screenshots, etc.):

This may be related to UniversalLanguageSelector (whose Hindi Transliteration input method was used to type the word in question).

I think that's exactly what it is actually. There are problems with all of the Indic ULS keyboards I have tried. I was not able to replicate this
