For the Christmas 2022 WMIT campaign, the external e-commerce "hoplix.shop" was adopted (https://wikimediaitalia.hoplix.shop), which has some logistical advantages (delegation of warehouse management, delegation of payment management, etc.) but also has some critical concerns (presence of Google Analytics, discouraged by the Italian privacy guarantor, insufficient minimization of external resources, etc.).
These critical issues are probably fixable, first of all by contacting the provider of "hoplix.shop" in good faith and proposing interventions to benefit Wikimedia Italia's vision, evaluating any additional software development costs potentially to be paid by Wikimedia Italia for the resolution of this technical debt.
