Following up on feedback received on-wiki https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Topic:X9ij3dav8nqhlkzt, in this task we could attempt to analyze the interactions with the guidance tips in the help panel.
The feedback is that the auto-advancing is unexpected.
One thing we could analyze is how often a user taps/clicks to the previous guidance step. That might be a proxy for the user to be surprised by auto-advancing, or an indication that the auto-advancing happens too quickly.
@KStoller-WMF @MShilova_WMF is there an epic this task can go with? How should we prioritize this work?
@kostajh , I am not aware of any relevant active epics. @KStoller-WMF , do you have any thoughts about the priority of this task? Does it relate to any work that is currently in progress or planned?
I don't think this fits within any of our upcoming epics, but I added it to the Help panel project so we can be sure to review when we are ready to consider help panel improvements.
