Investigate how to aggregate information about tools that is captured by manual review during Tool Sweep
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

A sweep of all 3,200+ tools on Toolforge, checking each one for license compatibility, published source code, privacy compliance etc.
Some tools might no longer be needed and should be archived or deleted. The goal is to support tool maintainers with bringing their tools up to standard.

The information gathered from the manual process should be aggregated.

I have crawled and transferred the status of the sweeps so far to a google sheet.
The sheet can be found in the 'Tool Sweep' folder in Technical Engagement drive.

Please take a look and let me know what you think.
I've reviewed about 100 tools.
I crawled only the January page which has about 260 tools.

I intend to have all tools on the same sheet
I'm followed up with legoktm on this.

I created columns in the sheet to generally capture the checklist for the review.
The checklist keys are also added for context.

Is there a plan to publish that back to the wiki?

Yes, periodically, to showcase the overall status of the review.
