Feature summary: divide the properties displayed in a Wikidata item: Statements (already exists), Identifiers (already exists), Wikimedia properties (to be created)
Use case(s): as of now, Wikimedia-related properties (e.g. https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Property:P935, https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Property:P1424, https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Property:P7782) are showed in Wikidata items in the Statements section, along with non-Wikimedia-related properties; although they can be sorted to the bottom of this section through https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/MediaWiki:Wikibase-SortedProperties, their presence in the section can still be confusing; having a dedicated section for them would probably make them more easily findable.
The displacement of Wikimedia-related properties in an apposite section can be done in more ways; two of them are:
- automatically set in "Wikimedia properties" section all properties which are instance of https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q51118821 or instance of one of its subclasses
- make it possible to create sections through https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/MediaWiki:Wikibase-SortedProperties, e.g. using sections made through "=" (instead of "=="); in this way three sections Statements, Identifiers, Wikimedia properties could easily be created by Wikidata admins just editing this page
