Description

Once initial English design mocks are complete, T328370: IP Masking: Mocks for Growth user research, this task will track creating the multilingual mocks for the IP Masking/Growth user study (T328368).

TBC: finalize languages

Acceptance Criteria:

  • Work with @RHo and @Prtksxna as needed to create design mobile and Desktop mocks in (1) Spanish, (2) Arabic, and (3) Japanese for the IP Masking user study, denoted in order of priority. There may be other languages TBC.
  • Share initial design mocks for each language and platform with @RHo and @MRaishWMF for review.
  • Share Spanish design mocks with Growth Ambassador @Zapipedia-WMF for comment / review
  • Share Arabic design mocks with Growth Ambassador @Dyolf77_WMF for comment / review
  • Share Japanese design mocks with TBC Japanese liaison for comment / review
  • Share final design mocks with @RHo, @MRaishWMF, and @KStoller-WMF

Sounds good to me! I have updated to reflect that we want to run in Japanese as well, and possibly other identified relevant languages advised by @MRaishWMF, but it makes sense to add Spanish an Arabic given we have ambassador and research expertise on our teams already.

Spanish and Japanese mocks, both mobile and desktop, are ready for review. I put together this spreadsheet with the original copy in English and its translations, and the "new" copy that is related to IP Masking is highlighted in orange, and copy that is not highlighted in orange is copy that I took directly from the wiki on the corresponding language.

@Zapipedia-WMF, feel free to go through the ES translations and comment on any translations that need improvement in wording etc. 😸

Closing this task since Japanese mocks were already reviewed and Rita fixed the issues that were listed by the vendor regarding the mocks' translations!
