Context: Many Wikipedia entries (pages) have images or equations that are longer than the rest of the page. One long equation means that the rest of the page will have some horizontal scrolling.
Here is the problem: This side scrolling is accidentally activated when my finger doesn't move perfectly up and down when I mean to scroll vertically.
Recommendation: Ideally, only the equation that cannot fit the screen width of the device should be allowed to scroll horizontally. There should be a horizontal scroll bar that appears underneath each wider equation. I believe this is how the website works.
Attached is an example of a page where I have accidentally scrolled to the right.
