Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):
- Change skin to Vector 2022 (this might be unnecessary)
- Change skin to legacy Vector
- Hover over 貢獻 (Contributions) at the top-right corner in the top navbar
What happens?:
A Vector 2022–style popup appears, which includes the items 貢獻 (Contributions), 翻譯 (Translation), and 上載媒體 (Media upload)
What should have happened instead?:
No popup should appear. Popup menus are foreign to legacy Vector and should not be used under any circumstances, especially when it’s not in a native Vector style. Extra menu items should be integrated into the top navbar instead.
The popup is interfering with normal use (especially the use of the search field). This is especially apparent if the user uses certain non-mouse input devices or accessibility features.
Software version (skip for WMF-hosted wikis like Wikipedia):
Other information (browser name/version, screenshots, etc.):
The problem has been observed on yuewiki. This might be affecting other wikis but I have not tried to replicate it elsewhere.
