Description

More or less by accident I ran into a problem with DjVu files uploaded to the wiki some time ago. I don't know why, but after upgrade MW from 1.35.2 to 1.39.2 wiki oldest upladed DjVu files not detected

It's not problem of all DjVu files. Wiki don't give parameters for DjVu files uploaded before 2019 year but with MW 1.35.2 problem not exists.
Actualization from MW 1.34 was 7. April 2021 and before MW 1.33.0-wmf.22 (PHP 7.3) 29. March 2019.

It's problem DjVu files, what I upoaded into MW 1.28.0-alpha (actualized 13. septeber 2016 from MW ) an lower. May be do upload DjVu files by newest versions MW any note into database, because files on path linked from wiki physicaly exists.

It's link at last file from 2018 (uploaded 18:12, 11 October 2018)

And first file in 2019 year (18:06, 12 September 2019)

Please add a more complete description to this task. That should be

  • a clear and complete list of exact steps to reproduce the situation, step by step, so that nobody needs to guess or interpret how you performed each step,
  • what happens after performing these steps to reproduce,
  • what you expected to happen instead,
  • a full link to a web address where the issue can be seen.

You can edit the task description by clicking Edit Task. Ideally, a good description should allow any other person to follow these steps (without having to interpret steps) and see the same results. Problems that others can reproduce can get fixed faster. Thanks again!

I not meet similary problem in years. It first bug report by me, I am sorry.

I noted that old file has under image generated text

Original file ‎(1,800 × 2,685 pixels, file size: 5.35 MB, MIME type: image/vnd.djvu, 92 pages)

but invalid file link with name

z_lesni_rise_1925.djvu ‎(0 × 0 pixels, file size: 6.3 MB, MIME type: image/vnd.djvu)

For it I try upload same file which was downloaded from generated link. In doing so, a duplication notice appeared. I canceled it, but after is new access to file page is without bug . All done ok, as before. It's only abou 30 pieces books. Not problem repaired it, but I understand it can be very disconcerting for less experienced administrators.

Looks like it could be potentially T298417: Undeleted djvu files show incorrect metadata: 0x0 size, no page number info
